When the service gained recognition, its owners redesigned, opting for an abbreviated name. Therefore, the current logo has only two key elements – the abbreviation “AWS” and the trademark Amazon smile, composed of an arrow pointing to the right and up. It creates a kind of grinning smile and reminds users that this service is its subdivision. But instead of charcoal black, as in the original, the developers chose dark graphite.

The Risk Manager will implement and take ownership of internal controls and procedures to ensure that only safe or compliant products are available in our stores. This leader will lead cross-functional initiatives with internal Legal, Business, Risk, and International teams to ensure that only permitted products are available on our store, and will take the lead in acting on risk signals to identify and investigate potential non-compliant sellers and bad actors for engagement and enforcement. The right candidate needs to have a bias for action, comfort in navigating high levels of ambiguity, take strong ownership over their portfolio of work, and have a history of cross-functional engagement with a wide array of stakeholders. They will take the lead on several internal initiatives with a high degree of impact on Amazon customers and sellers, and high visibility within internal teams.
